Happy New Year!

Well, it's now officially 2006 on the east coast. For the fourth time in a row, I've kept my personal New Year's tradition of staying home in bed with a nasty cold/sinus infection. It was even worse this year, because instead of getting sick on New Year's Eve, I got sick on Christmas Eve. Awesome.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I'm now on antibiotics, so I feel a lot better than I did even two days ago. At least this year is starting on a road to recovery, instead of it starting in a miserable half-conscious haze while watching the Monk marathon.

And there's good news as well--after almost 2 years of being silent, the DRC forums have sprung to life again. Victor Laxman is posting once more. A couple of test posts, and something about "a guy who wants to ask us questions." We don't know if this is only the beginning of a reborn Uru Live, or just another way for Cyan to keep the community alive and talking. All I know is, it's incredibly exciting. Even if they end up keeping the Uru storyline going through DRC forum posts and nothing else, it's still content from Cyan Worlds to me! Add this to Eleri's new group to resurrect IC discussions in the cavern, and I'm considering creating a separate blog for GallifreyLady the D'ni explorer.

Oh yes, resolutions. They're pretty much the same resolutions I make every year. Maybe I won't break them all before mid-January this time:

1. Get more exercise
2. Eat healthy/cut down on junk food
3. Cut down on Pepsi consumption

Have a happy (and healthy) new year, everyone!!!
